3. Name of the presenting author, designations and affiliations including their contact details and
Email addresses to be mentioned after the title.
4. The poster should be prepared under the following headings-
a) Introduction
b) Objectives
c) Material and Methods
d) Results
e) Conclusion
f) References (Not more then Three)
g) Acknowledgement (at the end)
5. Font Size can be adjusted but readable well from the 3 ft. distance
6. Convey your content preferably in the form of visuals i.e. graphs, charts, diagrams, and
photographs.
7. When needed use bullet text; avoid long sentences; keep it simple yet effective and to the point.
8. Citations not needed in the poster (you can add citations if your work is unique and requires one).
9. The text should be readable. Always leave a breathing space around the text.
Try to use a uniform font style.
10. The content in the poster should be systematic, sequential, and non-chaotic.
11. Allow judicious and careful use of colors (especially primary colors). Put a very light color behind your text blocks. dark background, and have light text blocks on it.
12. Avoid using busy backgrounds.
13. Within the guidelines use your creativity, ideas, and interactivity to make your poster innovative
and interesting.
